LGBTQ Advocacy Day - Travel Grant

Equality California is committed to engaging diverse communities across the state to participate in LGBTQ Advocacy Day 2018 and lend their voice to help pass critical civil rights and social justice legislation!

Travel Grants are limited, but we hope to accomodate most people with demonstrated needs. The grants will include registration for the event. Priority will be given to those most in need, people living with HIV, young adults, people of color, people who live in rural areas, and people who commit to participate in the whole Advocacy Day event. Travel Grants may include public transportation (a charter bus or train) or a flight with transportation to and from the airport. Lunch will be provided for all event attendees.

Travel Grant recipients should expect to arrive at the West Steps of the California State Capitol in Sacramento by 9:00am and to depart around 5:00pm on Monday, May 21st. For any additional questions, contact Brad Lundahl at brad@eqca.org.
